Welcome to the information page for the Benton County Fair Spring Tractor Pull |
Note that this will be an indoor pull so, regardless of the weather, the pull will go on. |
We will have an open scale which means that you can weigh-in to check weights at any time before the pull. However, when the pull begins an official weigh-in will be required directly before your pull and your pull weight will be recorded. A 40 lb. maximum overweight in any class will be allowed. |
With regard to the rules, note that wheelie bars are required in the 4 & 6 mph classes from 3000 lb. to 8000 lb. Wheelie bars are not required in the 3 mph classes and in classes above 8000 lb. but they are recommended. You can purchase off the shelf wheelie bars for many tractors from various places. Denny's Carb Shop (http://www.dennyscarbshop.com/contents/en-us/d115.html) immediately comes to mind because of familiarity but this is not an endorsement. |
We will run USAP rules in the 3000 to 8000 lb. classes with some minor modifications. Classes from 9000 to 14000 lb. will be run similar to the rules prior to adopting USAP rules. |

Hitch and Forward Weight Information |
![]() |
A horizontal hitch point is required. This can consist of a horizontal pin or ring like a D-ring. The hitch point should allow a minimum of 3” in front of it to allow the chain hook from the pulling sled to pass through. No part of the hitch system should impede the position of the hook. That is, the hook should be able to follow the direction of the chain as necessary.
If a standard drawbar is used, a clevis may be used for the hook. In this situation drawbar height is measured to the top of the drawbar. Position of the drawbar behind the rear axle is measured to the rear-most edge of the vertical hole in the drawbar.
